Kramer-Werke, based in Überlingen on Lake Constance, built four-wheel-drive tractors with its own stub-axle steering from the 1950s and developed from there into a specialist in articulated wheel loaders; the type logic of the older ranges gathered here combines letter codes such as KB, KL, KS and U with a number for the build size, Schmalspur marks the narrow-track versions for vineyards and orchards, KL stands for Kramer loader.

The register lists here 18 versions with 10.2 to 115 kW from one- to four-cylinders of 1,639 to 4,038 cm³, unladen weights from 1,056 to 11,550 kg, lengths from 2,680 to 6,275 mm and widths from 1,120 to 2,500 mm, with diesel engines.
Kramer was one of the pioneers of four-wheel steering in tractor building and shifted its focus over the decades entirely to wheel and compact loaders for construction, agriculture and municipal service, while the classic field tractor disappeared from the range.
On these older four-wheel-drive machines, the condition of the stub-axle steering and four-wheel drive, transmission and hydraulics, rust on frame and bodywork matter, and on the loaders, wear of the bucket and attachments; spares for the old ranges are, given the company's long history, only available to a limited extent.
