The Isuzu Trooper is an SUV that Isuzu built in Japan from 1981 to 2002 across two generations, offered as a three- and five-door version. In the US, Isuzu's partner Honda sold it for a time as the Acura SLX, while in Europe the long-wheelbase, large-bodied version was sold by Opel and Vauxhall under the name Monterey; the UBS chassis code in the second-generation model names identifies the Trooper range internally at Isuzu. In Japan it was sold under the name Bighorn, reflecting its position in the brand's line-up.
