The register lists here five versions with a uniform 34 kW rated output at 2,400 to 3,000 rpm. The four-cylinder inline engine measures 84 mm bore and 100 mm stroke, maximum torque ranges from 119 to 143 Nm at 1,800 to 3,000 rpm. Certified model years span 2012 to 2017, emission stages from Interim Tier 4 to Tier 4 (Final or Phase-in), and the power category sits at 19 to under 37 kW.

Engines in this power class drive compact agricultural machinery, mini excavators and wheel loaders as well as stationary generator sets; IHI Agri-Tech supplies them to its own compact tractors as well as to outside equipment makers in the sub-37 kW nonroad segment.

On a used purchase, operating hours and the service history of the injection pump count, along with the condition of the indirect pre-chamber injection, the tightness of the radiator and hoses, and on the newer model years compatibility with low-sulphur diesel fuel; parts supply runs through IHI Agri-Tech's distribution network and its equipment partners.
