The MF 11 is powered by an air-cooled single-cylinder engine of 392 cc, producing 10 hp at 3,600 rpm. At a weight of 290 kg, a length of 1,715 mm, a height of 950 mm and a width of 720 mm, with a wheelbase of 1,180 mm and around 230 mm of ground clearance, the machine reaches a top speed of 15.2 km/h; it rides on 3.50x8 ribbed-tread tyres at the front and 6-12 tyres at the rear.
Such a light, air-cooled single-cylinder tractor of barely 400 cc was intended for the smallest farms and for work in the tightest spaces, for instance between rows of trees or on sloping ground, where the low ground clearance and light weight offered an advantage. Air cooling made the engine largely immune to frost and did away with a radiator and water pump as sources of wear.
When buying an MF 11 secondhand, the condition of the cooling fins and fan of the air-cooled engine, and wear in the clutch and gearbox, matter most. Also worth checking are the tyres in their stated special sizes, which are harder to source than common tractor sizes, along with corrosion on sheet-metal and frame parts; spare parts for this rare joint-badged model are now only available through specialist suppliers.

What to check before buying
- Check the hour meter against the service records — a replaced instrument is the most common gap.
- Compare the data plate and chassis number with the papers.
- Check the weights in the papers against the figures here — attachments change them.
- Check front and rear tyre sizes: mismatched pairs strain the drivetrain.
- Load the hydraulics and watch for sag.
- Ask about parts availability for this build year — the running costs hang on it.
