Faun-Tadano ATF denotes the all-terrain cranes (All Terrain Faun) from the plant in Lauf an der Pegnitz in Bavaria, where FAUN has built mobile cranes suited to both road and off-road travel since the 1980s. In 1990 the Japanese crane maker Tadano of Takamatsu took over FAUN's crane division and continued the range under the joint Faun-Tadano brand. The ATF cranes run on multi-axle chassis with all axles steered and driven, allowing them to reach their lifting capacity both on the motorway and on the unpaved ground of a construction site.
