The 3700 series is Eicher's narrowest tractor range and the successor to the 500s in the vineyard and hop class: tractors 900 to 1,010 mm wide and only 1,130 to 1,220 mm high that drive between vine rows and under hop trellises where no standard tractor fits. The type logic: the 37 stands for the series, the following digits order the size in ascending order – 3706 the smallest two-cylinder, 3714 the largest three-cylinder – A marks four-wheel drive, the suffix -74 a version with different track width. The engines are Eicher's air-cooled two- and three-cylinders with individual cylinders on a common crankcase, 1,963 and 2,944 cm³, at 2,000 rpm rated speed.
