The Holybro M10 GPS (Standard) is a puck-format GPS with a u-blox M10 receiver, IST8310 compass and a 25 x 25 mm patch antenna for medium-class multicopters. For the housing of the V2 version Holybro states ingress protection IP67.
The module receives GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS and SBAS in the L1 band. It does not offer RTK. Holybro states 2.0 m CEP, the radius containing half of the measurements. The rate is 25 Hz with one satellite system and 10 Hz with four. Connection is through a 10-pin JST-GH connector; UBX and NMEA are spoken. The V2 weighs 36.8 g, the V1 32 g.
The puck combines receiver, antenna and compass in one housing. The 25 x 25 mm patch antenna needs a clear view upward and works best over a conductive surface. Metre class is enough for navigation, attitude control and zone warning. For the EU classes C1 to C3, geo-awareness and remote identification are mandatory, both resting on the GNSS position. Anyone who will later need centimetre accuracy chooses an RTK module straight away.
For selection, the rate with several systems counts: anyone using GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou plans with 10 Hz. The compass sits in the housing and so belongs on a mast, far from power leads and motors; it is calibrated after installation. IP67 applies to the V2 housing; when buying used, check the version, the seal and the connector. Upkeep includes a look at the cable, which can chafe on the mast.

What to check before buying
- Check the hour meter against the service records — a replaced instrument is the most common gap.
- Compare the data plate and chassis number with the papers.
- Ask about parts availability for this build year — the running costs hang on it.
