The Dodge LCF series rolled off the line in 1964-1970 as a heavy truck.

It replaced the Dodge COE (1957-1959) and was in turn replaced by the Ram 6500 (Mexico); Renault Premium (for Barreiros model).

Dodge – other truck models: the collective page outside the named ranges, from the D and W series through the Power Wagon to the Dodge Sprinter, six- and eight-cylinder engines from 81 to 257 kW

This page gathers Dodge commercial vehicles the register could not assign to a named range – from the two-digit D series (rear-wheel drive) and W series (four-wheel drive) of the 1960s to 1990s through the off-road Power Wagon to later predecessors of the Ram 2500/3500; the Freightliner-built Sprinter also ran in North America under the Dodge Sprinter name between 2003 and 2009. From 2010 Ram was spun off as an independent brand from Dodge, which is why newer heavy pickups are now listed separately rather than under Dodge.

The register lists 65 versions with 81 to 257 kW from six- and eight-cylinder engines of 2,987 to 14,039 cm³, unladen weights of 2,013 to 9,480 kg, gross vehicle weights of 3,490 to 26,700 kg, lengths of 5,280 to 9,450 mm and widths of 1,950 to 2,540 mm.

The span from light pickups to heavier commercial vehicles reflects the historical breadth of the Dodge brand in the North American truck business, which for a long time competed with Ford and General Motors for construction, agriculture and fleet business before the commercial-vehicle line continued under Ram.

When buying used, check frame and cab corrosion on the older D/W models, injection pump and turbocharger condition on diesel engines (including early Cummins units), the transfer case and front-axle joints on four-wheel-drive versions, and, on the Dodge Sprinter, the corrosion hotspots typical of the Freightliner Sprinter around the sliding door and load floor; parts run through Stellantis/Ram depending on model, partly through independent classic-vehicle suppliers.
