This collective page gathers the New Generation DAF XD, which DAF presented in September 2022 at the IAA Transportation show in Hanover. DAF is headquartered in Eindhoven and has belonged since 1996 to the American commercial-vehicle group PACCAR, which also owns Kenworth and Peterbilt. The XD uses the platform of the previously award-winning XF, XG and XG+ ranges and adds a chassis for distribution and construction work; FA denotes the rigid platform or box chassis, FT the tractor unit, FAG and FAN the three-axle rigids with a steered pusher or trailing axle respectively.
