This page gathers the CLAAS tractors the register could not assign to a named range, including models from the Ares, Arion, Axion, Celtis, Nectis and Xerion ranges as well as older Renault types such as the 856 RZ and the Talos. CLAAS, based in Harsewinkel, was originally known above all for harvesting equipment and only gained its own tractor range in 2003 with the acquisition of Renault Agriculture; some of the models listed here therefore still carry the Renault type logic. The diesel engines come from Iveco, or more precisely its engine division FPT.

The register lists here 50 versions with 50 to 129 kW from four- to six-cylinder engines with 3,621 to 6,788 cm³ displacement, exclusively with diesel drive. Unladen weights range from 4,400 to 10,000 kg, gross vehicle weights from 7,000 to 16,000 kg, lengths from 4,070 to 5,975 mm and widths from 2,140 to 2,600 mm.
By entering the tractor segment, CLAAS added to its range of combine harvesters, forage harvesters and balers the tractor needed for a complete farm operation, putting it in competition with Fendt, John Deere and Case IH. The wide weight span of this collective page, from mid-class to large tractors, shows how differently the models gathered here were used.
On used examples with Iveco/FPT diesel engines, the condition of the turbocharger and injection system matters, while on all models the clutch, gearbox and hydraulics for the lift linkage and implements, and rust on the cab and mudguards, need checking; on the larger types, the condition of the four-wheel drive and differential locks is an additional check point. Spare parts run through CLAAS distribution.
