Chevrolet HHR – retro-styled compact with a Panel commercial version: four-cylinder engines from 2,189 to 2,384 cc, 126 kW, kerb weight 1,280 to 1,551 kg, gross vehicle weight 1,923 kg
The Chevrolet HHR was built from 2006 to 2011; the name stands for Heritage High Roof, referencing the styling of the late-1940s Chevrolet Suburban on which the retro body was modelled. The lead designer was Bryan Nesbitt, who had previously styled the Chrysler PT Cruiser. Alongside the normal wagon version, Chevrolet offered the HHR Panel, a version without rear side windows as a light commercial vehicle, listed here in several trim levels.

The register lists here 5 versions with 126 kW from four-cylinder engines of 2,189 to 2,384 cc, kerb weights of 1,280 to 1,551 kg, a gross vehicle weight of 1,923 kg, a length of 4,485 mm and widths of 1,650 to 1,760 mm.
The HHR competed with the Chrysler PT Cruiser as a retro-styled compact vehicle, and with the Panel version also found customers among small delivery businesses looking for a nimble van with a passenger-car chassis. The turbocharged SS version additionally appealed to performance-oriented buyers. It was built at General Motors' plant in Ramos Arizpe, Mexico.
On the turbocharged SS version a used-buying check should cover the turbocharger and clutch, on all versions rust on the sills and the condition of the electric window regulators, and on Panel models the sealing of the blanked side panels. Spare parts are available through the GM parts network and the aftermarket for US compact vehicles.
