Fleetside has been Chevrolet's name since 1958 for the smooth-sided pickup bed without external fenders, as the counterpart to the older Stepside body; for decades it shaped the C/K range from the basic C10 to the four-wheel-drive K model. The model list shows the range: from early Apache and Custom Camper versions through diesel pickups with the Detroit Diesel V8 to the Silverado top trim and the 454 SS, the most powerful production variant with the 7.4-litre V8.
