The register lists 218 versions with unladen weights from 2,640 to 46,490 kg and permissible gross weights from 11,000 to 74,000 kg. Lengths are recorded for 102 of the 218 vehicles and range from 1,385 to 14,000 mm, width for all 218 versions from 2,160 to 3,000 mm.

Zwalve thus sits among the dense field of Dutch trailer builders who, alongside industry giants such as Schmitz Cargobull and Krone, build smaller series and special bodies for heavy haulage. The wide span from under three to over 46 tonnes unladen weight in the register shows how heterogeneous the O4 class is – from the light dolly to the multi-axle low-loader.

For a used semi-trailer in this class, check axle condition, usually BPW or SAF, and the EBS braking system, the function of the air suspension, frame corrosion on chassis rails and cross members, and the condition and play of the kingpin. Add to that the body type itself – tightness on tank or tipper bodies, curtain condition on curtainsiders – and a complete inspection history, since parts for special bodies are often only available through independent commercial-vehicle workshops.
