The Alexander Dennis Enviro200 is a midibus built since 2003, first by TransBus International and later by Alexander Dennis. The second generation, at first called Enviro200 Dart, revived sales from 2006. For model years 2018 to 2020 the database lists a US-market version classed as a vehicle of class 6-7 (vocational vehicles), with diesel power and a CO₂ limit of 225 g/tkm.
In North America the left-hand-drive bus first reached the market as the New Flyer MiDi, after Alexander Dennis and New Flyer announced a joint venture in 2012. In total New Flyer built 200 MiDi buses for 22 customers. Production was later moved to the Alexander Dennis plant in Indiana.
At the 2017 APTA Expo Alexander Dennis reintroduced the Enviro200 to North America under its own name. By early 2021, however, it was no longer being sold to customers there; the type stands for a short attempt by a British midibus on the US market.
