Self-build (Zie Bijzonderheden) Trailers up to 3.5 t (Class O2)

Zie bijzonderheden is not a manufacturer but Dutch for “see particulars”: the note that the registration authority RDW puts in the manufacturer field when no brand name can be entered for a trailer and the details are in the particulars field of the registration certificate – for self-builds, for converted or lengthened chassis, for imports without EU type approval and for trailers whose type plate is missing. This collective page covers class O2, braked trailers from 750 kg to 3.5 t gross weight, which in the Netherlands – unlike unbraked trailers up to 750 kg, which carry the towing car's plate – need a plate of their own and thus their own register entry. The model designations are what the RDW inspector or the keeper stated: gross weights such as 1300 or 2000, axle counts, types such as paardentrailer (horse trailer), schamelwagen (turntable trailer) or De Luxe, often just a number.
