Zen Noh Other models

The register lists 32 versions from 8.2 to 22 kW and 11 to 30 hp, all fitted with diesel engines. The engines come from Yanmar and from Kubota, the two large Japanese tractor manufacturers supplying the cooperative federation.

As a cooperative federation, Zen-Noh organises the purchasing and distribution of farm machinery for its member holdings across Japan. The compact power class of these tractors – consistently under 30 hp – suits the small rice paddies and vegetable plots of Japanese family farms, which typically need agile four-wheel-drive tractors with front-loader and implement mounts.

Because the underlying technology comes straight from Yanmar and Kubota, parts supply through Japan's distribution networks is usually straightforward, even though the Zen-Noh nameplate itself cannot be traced directly. When buying used, check the power take-off, hydraulic pump and four-wheel drive, and on older YM and B models also check for rust around the wings and radiator area as well as clutch and brake condition.
