WT-METALL Other models

The register lists 72 versions with kerb weights from 120 to 374 kg at gross vehicle weights from 400 to 750 kg. Lengths range from 1,350 to 3,700 mm, widths from 1,440 to 1,950 mm.

With compact lengths from 1.35 metres, several models rank among the smallest trailers in the register, used as dog transporters or for light transport tasks behind small cars; the larger versions, with gross weights up to 750 kg, reach the limit of the classic unbraked trailer class. The low overall height and light kerb weight also make it easy to manoeuvre these trailers by hand without a tow vehicle.

When buying used, check the axle and wheel bearings for smooth operation, the chassis and floor pan for rust, and the ball coupling for play. On dog transporters it is also worth checking the ventilation openings and partitions for damage, along with the latches on the flaps and the condition of any non-slip flooring. Spare parts such as axles, couplings and lighting are available through the independent trailer-accessory trade.
