The register lists here 8 versions with unladen weights from 500 to 640 kg, permitted gross weights from 950 to 1,300 kg, lengths from 4,550 to 5,040 mm and widths from 1,700 to 1,950 mm.

With gross weights up to 1.3 t, the WT-Metall trailers sit in the light-to-medium car-trailer segment, which at unladen weights of around 500 to 600 kg can also be towed by smaller cars while offering payloads of several hundred kilograms. The span of lengths from 4.55 to just over 5 m against widths up to 1.95 m shows the bodies are built for longer but narrow loads, such as equipment or small transport boxes.

When buying used, check the frame and sides for corrosion, plus the overrun brake, axle bearings, tyres and lighting; on the Thermo Balance version it is also worth assessing the insulation and seals of the body, as this variant is built for temperature-sensitive transport. On all TH types it is also worth checking the function of the overrun brake and the condition of the drawbar, as these parts see the most wear from frequent parking.
