Westtrailers Other models

The register lists here 12 versions with unladen weights from 620 to 1,370 kg and gross weights from 1,600 to 3,500 kg. The widths range from 1,940 to 2,350 mm; one version is recorded with a length of 4,360 mm, and the payload of the models runs from a compact single-axle trailer to versions carrying over a tonne.

Trailers of this class serve as car and light-van trailers for vehicles, boats and cargo; the span from 1.6 to 3.5 tonnes gross weight covers both light single-axle trailers and tandem versions with a higher payload, needed for private use as much as for small-scale commercial transport.

On used examples, axle and overrun-brake condition, tyres and rims, rust on the frame, and the lighting function call for checking; on the tandem versions the condition of the coupling between the axles and the brake balance as well; on all models the load capacity of the drawbar and the condition of the ball coupling head.
