Wendt – other models: the collective page of trailers outside the named ranges, 1000, W 1500, W 3000 and W.I.T.A.4000, 280 to 3,300 kg unladen weight, 1,000 to 7,000 kg gross weight
This page gathers the four Wendt trailers the register could not assign to a named range, which together make up the entire catalogue held here for the brand. In three of the four type designations, 1000, W 1500 and W 3000, an optional W is followed by a four-digit number, while W.I.T.A.4000 follows its own scheme with full stops. As with many smaller trailer brands, the entry is drawn from registration data, in which each model is listed individually with its technical values.

The register lists here 4 versions with unladen weights from 280 to 3,300 kg, gross weights from 1,000 to 7,000 kg, a length of 10,250 mm and widths from 1,650 to 2,500 mm.
With gross weights of 1 to 7 tonnes, the brand covers a wide span from the light, unbraked trailer to the multi-axle trailer for lorry combinations; the length of just over 10 metres for one of the versions shows that long platform or special bodies are also part of the programme. For registration behind the relevant tow vehicle, besides the trailer's gross weight its rated towing capacity is also decisive.
On a used example, depending on the weight class, axle and wheel-bearing condition, the function of the brake system and its linkage, rust on frame and body, and lighting, plug connection, tyres and rims all count. Parts for such small brands usually run through independent trailer workshops rather than a maker's own network. On versions with an overrun brake, the adjustment of the brake linkage and the condition of the brake linings are also worth checking before the first drive.
