Weber Other models

8 models in this series

Weber – other models: the collective page of trailers outside the named ranges, from EA18 and TA 1800 to MULDY 3500, tipper and sports-equipment trailers, 0.42 to 8.8 t unladen weight, 0.85 to 45 t gross weight

This page gathers the Weber trailers the register could not assign to a named range. Among the type designations, MULDY 3500 points to a skip or tipper trailer with a gross weight of about 3.5 tonnes, SPORTGERAT to a trailer for sports equipment; EA18, TA1800 and TA2200 are further register entries without their own, multiply represented range.

The register lists here 8 versions with unladen weights from 420 to 8,840 kg, gross weights from 850 to 45,000 kg, lengths from 7,400 to 13,860 mm and widths from 1,280 to 2,550 mm.

The span runs from a small class O1 trailer under 1 tonne gross weight for leisure and sports equipment to a heavy semi- or tandem-axle trailer of class O4 at 45 tonnes as used in heavy-haulage transport – a range typical of collective pages at small trailer makers with few recorded types.

On a used trailer, the light versions call for checking the overrun brake or, under 750 kg, the manoeuvring handle, the axle bearings and tyre age; the heavy ones the air-brake system with ABS or EBS, the condition of the brake drums or discs, and the frame and body for rust and cracks; on tipper trailers, additionally the hydraulic cylinders and the seals of the tipping mechanism for tightness. On trailers for sports equipment it is also worth checking the mounts and tie-down straps.
