With gross weights up to around 3,600 kg, the range falls mostly within trailers towable on a standard car licence; the standalone model names are clearly aimed at leisure users, for example for transporting horses and vehicles, and as general-purpose trailers for home and garden.

When buying used, check corrosion on the chassis and drawbar, the condition of the braking system and the overrun brake coupling, the operation of the lights, and the condition of tyres and axles. On horse and livestock trailers, also check the partitions and ventilation; spares for axles, brakes and lighting are available through the general trailer parts trade.
