Vammas – other models: collective page of Finnish towed airport sweepers, SB 3600 and SB 4500, 8,260 to 11,000 kg unladen weight, 9,300 to 12,000 kg gross weight
Vammas is a Finnish manufacturer from the town of Vammala, now part of the municipality of Sastamala. This collective page gathers the brand's towed sweepers that the register could not assign to a separate range, with the SB 3600 and SB 4500 types and their versions SB4504 and SB 3600 H. The model name SB4504 harjakone confirms with the Finnish word harjakone (brush or sweeping machine) the purpose: these are towed sweeping units, used on airport aprons and runways to clear snow, leaves and loose material.

The register lists here 9 versions with unladen weights from 8,260 to 11,000 kg, gross weights from 9,300 to 12,000 kg, lengths from 10,826.5 to 13,094 mm and widths from 2,475 to 3,300 mm.
Such towed sweepers are not a mass product but specialist equipment for airport operators, winter services and municipalities with large paved areas; they are towed by tractors or vehicles and driven via the PTO or their own hydraulics. In Finland, with its long winters and high demands on runway clearing, the brand is an established name in the segment.
Used, condition matters most on the brush units and their bearings, the hydraulic hoses and pumps, the axles and brakes, and corrosion from de-icing agents and salt. Parts for drive and attachments run through the Finnish factory service and authorised workshops.
