The register lists 14 versions here with 116 to 313 kW from four- to eight-cylinder engines of 2,950 to 6,200 cm³, unladen weights from 2,080 to 2,860 kg, gross vehicle weights from 3,505 to 3,540 kg, lengths from 4,910 to 5,817 mm and widths from 1,820 to 2,080 mm.

This puts the vehicles in the size and weight class of large SUVs and upmarket off-roaders, a segment also served, alongside factory-built versions, by smaller converters and special-vehicle builders working from existing American platforms; such conversions usually appeal to buyers who want to combine the look and size of American vehicles with locally approved technology or particular equipment.

When buying used, check fuel consumption and the condition of the axle drives in the four-wheel-drive system on these large-displacement petrol engines, corrosion on the frame and body attachments, the function of the automatic transmission and brakes, and on converted vehicles the quality of any add-on bodywork, trim and wiring; on examples with extensive special equipment, the service history is especially worth tracing. Spare parts for the underlying platforms are available through the independent parts trade for American vehicles.
