The register lists 20 versions with kerb weights from 160 to 282 kg, gross weights from 500 to 825 kg, lengths from 3,000 to 5,660 mm and widths from 1,650 to 2,060 mm.

Trailers of this weight class serve across Europe mainly for the transport of boats, motorcycles, garden equipment and small machinery; their brake-free registration makes them especially attractive to private users without a heavier-vehicle licence or a braked towbar. The fine gradation of build sizes lets buyers choose a model close to the payload they actually need rather than a coarse standard size.

When buying used, what counts most is corrosion on the axle and frame, the condition of the wheel bearings and tyres, and the function of the lighting system and coupling; on models with a tarpaulin or lid, also their tightness. Spare parts for axles, wheels and lighting are available through the general small trailer accessory trade.
