Tauriga Other models

The register lists here 3 versions with unladen weights from 365 to 900 kg, gross weights from 1,500 to 3,500 kg, lengths from 4,570 to 9,860 mm and widths from 2,060 to 2,500 mm.

The span of 1.5 to 3.5 tonnes gross weight at lengths from under five to almost ten metres covers a wide field, from the compact trailer to the long version for bulky loads, typical of multi-purpose trailers towed behind cars and light commercial vehicles. For registration behind a car, besides the trailer's gross weight the tow vehicle's rated towing capacity is also decisive, since it sets the real limit for the load towed.

On a used example, axle and wheel-bearing condition, the function of the overrun brake on the heavier versions, rust on frame and side rails – especially on the long models –, lighting and plug, and tyres and rims all count. Parts for such small brands usually run through independent trailer workshops. On versions with an overrun brake, the adjustment of the brake linkage and the condition of the brake linings are also worth checking before the first drive.
