SUN WAY Other models

The register lists here 10 versions with unladen weights from 280 to 710 kg, gross weights from 1,000 to 3,200 kg, lengths from 5,900 to 8,420 mm and widths from 2,040 to 2,370 mm.

With lengths up to 8.4 m and comparatively low unladen weight, the range is geared to long, light loads such as arise when transporting boats or long piece goods.

When buying used, these long, light trailers call above all for checking frame deflection and torsional stiffness, the condition of the axles and overrun brake, and rust on the long chassis rails; on the types with a wide gross-weight span, also check the tyres and their load capacity against the actual load carried. On the long, narrow versions, also check the side marker lights required at this length, plus the condition of the drawbar and the coupling head for play and wear.
