Steelwrist HPF – Swedish excavator-mounted pallet forks: the HPF2000 and HPF5000, unladen weights 210 to 500 kg, lifting capacities 2,000 to 5,000 kg
Steelwrist, based in Sweden, is best known for tiltrotators and quick couplers for excavators that allow attachments to be changed without leaving the cab. The HPF range adds pallet forks to this programme, connecting to the carrier machine through the same quick coupler and turning an excavator into a tool for handling palletised loads.

The register lists here 2 versions, the HPF2000 and the HPF5000, with unladen weights from 210 to 500 kg and lifting capacities from 2,000 to 5,000 kg.
Excavator-mounted pallet forks such as the HPF range turn a machine already on site into an additional lifting tool without the need to buy a separate forklift; this is especially attractive for building sites and businesses that already use an excavator for earthworks and want to use it for loading and unloading palletised goods as well.
Unlike a purpose-built forklift, the stated lifting capacity only applies at the load centre near the fork heel; as the excavator's boom reaches further out, the load that can still be lifted safely falls, and the excavator's stability also depends on the rear counterweight and the ground it stands on. Anyone working regularly near the capacity limit should read the remaining lifting capacity against reach from the carrier machine's own data rather than from the fork rating alone.
On used examples, the condition and wear of the fork tines, the condition of the mounting plate and its locking in the quick coupler, cracks and corrosion on welds, and, on adjustable versions, the function of the tine adjustment all matter.
