SNIPE TRAILERS Other models

Snipe Trailers – other models: roller-type boat trailers from the 2000 S 80 to the Y5-1600, unladen weights from 240 to 770 kg, gross weights up to 3,495 kg, widths up to 2,350 mm
This page gathers the Snipe Trailers models the register could not assign to a named range. The model name SNIPE MULTI ROLLER TRAILER shows the design that dominates the range: roller trailers, where the boat hull slides over a row of rotating rollers instead of fixed keel blocks or bunks during loading and launching, making it easier to launch without help. The other designations, such as FD2-16-1300, AKR2 1650 MJ and Y5-1600, combine a letter code with a number distinguishing the size, though the register itself does not resolve what the individual codes stand for.

The register lists here 9 versions with unladen weights from 240 to 770 kg, gross weights from 1,050 to 3,495 kg and widths from 1,910 to 2,350 mm.
Boat trailers in this weight class cover a wide field from the dinghy to the cabin cruiser of several tonnes displacement and are sold through boat dealers, boatyards and the watersports trade, where they compete with brands such as Brenderup, Böckmann and EZ Loader.
On used boat trailers, the condition of the rollers and their bearings, corrosion of the frame and axle from contact with salt or fresh water, the function of the winch and rope, the condition of the lighting system after repeated submersion, and brake and overrun coupling on the heavier versions all count; replacement rollers and axles are available through the general trailer accessory trade.
