The register lists here 416 versions with 0.75 to 160 kW, two- to eight-pole, full-load efficiencies from 78.6 to 96.6% and at 75% load (407 motors) from 79.1 to 96.8%. Frame sizes run from 80 to 315, protection is almost exclusively IP55; Czechia (172) and Germany (154) are represented almost equally as manufacturing countries, plus combinations of both. Testing mostly followed the 2019 (254) and 2012 (94) GEMS determinations and AS/NZS 1359.5, with test method A for the majority; of 400 classified motors, 297 reach the 2005 High Efficiency Level (roughly IE2) and 23 the 2018 level (roughly IE3), 78 remain unclassified.

Siemens is one of the world's leading makers of industrial motors; the versions gathered here supplement the named IEC ranges with older frame sizes, special versions and explosion-protection variants for pumps, fans, compressors and conveying plant in the process industries.

When buying used, bearing condition and a checked insulation resistance of the winding, the condition of shaft, key and fan cover, a legible nameplate with range (1LA, 1LE1, 1PC, 1PP), frame size and efficiency class matter, and on the older 1LA models inverter suitability, which is not given on every version. Spares and service run, depending on year, through Siemens or, since 2024, the responsible Innomotics.
