SEICO Other models

The register lists here 20 versions with unladen weights from 750 to 2,000 kg, gross weights from 1,450 to 2,500 kg, lengths from 5,070 to 5,820 mm and widths from 1,760 to 2,550 mm.

With gross weights of up to 2.5 tonnes, the Seico models sit at the upper edge of vehicle class O2 and require their own overrun brake throughout; lengths of up to almost 5.8 metres allow vehicles, machinery or bulky equipment to be carried on a continuous load bed. The combination of length and gross weight makes the Seico models transport trailers for commercial and agricultural use, well beyond the format of a plain car trailer.

On a used example, the condition of frame and load bed, corrosion on the side members and ramps, the function of the overrun brake and brake linings, the condition of tyres and wheel bearings, and an unbroken registration history all count; on longer load beds it is also worth checking for even tyre wear and the condition of the suspension after years of use. spare parts for axles, brakes and lighting are usually available independent of the maker in this weight class.
