As a refrigerated box semi-trailer for tractor units, the SKO18 range belongs to the cold chain of European long-haul transport: perishable food, frozen goods and pharmaceutical products are carried in it over long distances at constant cooling, often separately adjustable across several temperature zones. The insulated body also shields the cargo from outside temperatures and weather, even while the refrigeration unit is switched off for a time.
