At 13,890 mm long and 2,550 mm wide, the build makes almost full use of the maximum dimensions permitted in Europe, pointing to a classic long semi-trailer or curtainsider body for standard freight.

Class O4 trailers and semi-trailers run on air brakes fed from the towing vehicle's brake line and require a category CE licence to tow. The full use of length and width at a comparatively moderate gross weight points to a volume-oriented vehicle for palletised goods rather than a heavy-load concept.

Buying a used vehicle of this age, it is worth checking the side curtains or body walls for damage where a curtainsider or box body is fitted, and inspecting the air brake system, brake linings and axle suspension for wear. After more than 15 years in service, the chassis and load floor deserve a close look for rust and fatigue cracks, and the landing gear should be tested for smooth, even winding on both sides, with particular care given to the crank gearbox and its mounting bracket.
