Renault Trucks Other models

Renault Trucks – other models: the collective page outside the named series with the D, Master and Maxity, from light van to distribution truck, 2.3 to 7.7 litres of displacement, gross weight up to 16,000 kg
This page gathers Renault Trucks models that the register could not assign to any named series: the Master van, the light Maxity truck and the medium-duty D range. Renault Trucks has been part of the Swedish Volvo Group since 2001 and grew out of RVI, founded in 1978 to merge the commercial-vehicle divisions of Berliet and Saviem. The Master is a classic panel van and the base for many bodies, the Maxity a light distribution truck developed jointly with Nissan, and the D range covers the medium-duty segment for urban and regional transport.

The register lists 3 versions here with displacement from 2,299 to 7,698 cm³ from four- to six-cylinder engines, kerb weights from 3,280 to 7,125 kg, gross vehicle weights from 4,500 to 16,000 kg, and lengths from 5,500 to 9,740 mm with widths from 2,100 to 2,550 mm.
With this span from panel van to distribution truck, the page covers a broad market segment where Renault Trucks competes across France and much of Europe with Mercedes-Benz, Iveco, MAN and its own group sibling Volvo.
For a used example, depending on the model, check the chassis and load bed for corrosion, clutch and gearbox condition, brake system operation, and on the vans the tightness of the sliding doors and load floor; parts run through the Renault Trucks dealer network.
