Poseidon Other models

The register lists here 9 versions with unladen weights from 380 to 910 kg, permissible gross weights from 1,300 to 3,500 kg and widths from 2,120 to 2,500 mm.

The whole programme therefore sits in the O2 segment up to 3.5 tonnes – the range that can be towed behind a car in Europe without an additional trailer licence and is correspondingly widely used for general goods transport, house moves and private material haulage. Buyers are mainly private users, small trade and agricultural businesses, and rental yards that rely on robust, low-maintenance technology.

Buying used, what counts is the condition of the overrun brake and its cables, corrosion on frame and drawbar, axle capacity against the gross weight, and the condition of the side panels and lighting; on the smaller P models also the condition of the jockey wheels and the breakaway cable. It is also worth checking the condition of the frame's corrosion protection through galvanising or paint, the function of the indicator and brake lights, and the wheel chocks and a spare-wheel mount if fitted.
