PONTUS Other models

The register lists here 22 versions with unladen weights from 140 to 360 kg, gross weights from 500 to 750 kg, lengths from 3,130 to 4,850 mm and widths from 1,580 to 2,010 mm.

Small trailers of this weight class are among the most widespread utility vehicles in Europe: they serve as multi-purpose trailers for garden and building waste, as transport trailers for furniture and equipment, and in rural areas for small-scale agricultural haulage. The market is highly fragmented, with numerous regional makers offering similar sizes in slight variations.

When buying used, the condition of the drawbar and tow-ball coupling, axle suspension and leaf springs, rust on the side panels and loading floor, the state of the lighting system and the tyres and rims all count; on versions near the 750 kg limit the overrun brake as well. Spare parts such as axles, couplings and lighting are usually available for small trailers regardless of make.
