4 models in this series

Olympic – other models: the collective page of trailers outside the named ranges, from S 1800 to S 3500 with the gross weight in the type name, 620 to 1,300 kg unladen weight, 1,700 to 3,500 kg gross weight

This page gathers the Olympic trailers the register could not assign to a named range. The four types S 1800, S 2000, S 3000 and S 3500 follow a recognisable pattern: the number after the S gives roughly the gross weight in kilograms, so S 3500 is a version close to the 3.5-tonne mark. As with many smaller trailer brands, the programme is drawn from registration data, in which each model is listed individually with its technical values.

The register lists here 4 versions with unladen weights from 620 to 1,300 kg, gross weights from 1,700 to 3,500 kg and widths from 2,080 to 2,380 mm.

With gross weights of 1.7 to 3.5 tonnes, the whole range falls into the braked trailer class towed behind vans and stronger cars; the type name here allows the weight class to be read off more quickly than on brands with pure letter codes or proper names. For registration behind a car, besides the trailer's gross weight the tow vehicle's rated towing capacity is also decisive, since it sets the real limit for the load towed.

On a used example, axle and wheel-bearing condition, the function of the overrun brake and its linkage, rust on frame and drawbar, the state of lighting and plug, and tyres and rims all count. Parts for such small brands usually run through independent trailer workshops rather than a maker's own network. On versions with an overrun brake, the adjustment of the brake linkage and the condition of the brake linings are also worth checking before the first drive.
