Oy Närko Group Ab, based in Närpiö, Finland, was established in 1943 and describes itself as one of the biggest trailer manufacturers in the Nordic countries. A small mechanical workshop grew into a business that builds trailers and superstructures, cargo boxes, platforms, chassis, timber trailers and dollies. A trailer cargo box with side doors has been in the range since the early 1970s. Key markets are Finland, Norway and Sweden, with close to 50% of production exported to Sweden. Närko is the market leader in dolly trailers in the Nordic region.
