LUNAR Other models

The register lists here 56 versions with unladen weights from 763 to 1,560 kg, gross weights from 903 to 1,640 kg and widths from 2,000 to 2,300 mm; the longer versions measure 4,840 to 7,950 mm.

Lunar is among the established British caravan brands and targets mainly the domestic market, where light caravans that can be towed by a mid-size car are in demand for short breaks and weekend trips; the right-hand-drive layouts with British kitchen and seating arrangements differ noticeably from continental European competitors.

On a used example, damp in the walls, floor and roof counts, the condition of windows and roof lights, the function of the jockey wheel, overrun brake and lighting, the gas system and fridge, the condition of tyres and spare wheel, and rust on the chassis and supports; spares for Lunar models come through the British caravan trade and the Erwin Hymer Group.
