When buying a used example, check for rust in the chassis frame despite the aluminium body, the condition of the sills and door bottoms, wear in the transfer case and free-wheeling hubs, and, on diesel engines, the injection pump; thanks to the long production run and large numbers built, spare parts are very well supported through both independent and brand-specific parts trade.
