The AMHEBZ range is listed in the register under the name of the Italian manufacturer Lafert, unlike the AMHE models from the same factory, which are registered under the licensed AEG brand. Lafert is an Italian maker of industrial motors headquartered in the Veneto region and supplies both its own brand and licensees such as AEG. The AMHEBZ frame sizes from 80 to 160 follow the same IEC scheme as the sister AEG range.

The register lists 12 versions with 0.75 to 15 kW rated output, four-pole throughout, at supply voltages from 230/400 V to 400/690 V. Full-load efficiency ranges from 80.27 to 91.28%, and at 75% load from 80.42 to 91.46%. The protection class is mostly IP55, with frame sizes from 80 to 160.
Registration under two different GEMS determinations, the 2012 and the 2019 versions, and under two different test methods shows that the range was certified for the Australian and New Zealand market gradually over several years. As a purely four-pole motor, the AMHEBZ range is designed for the widely used standard speed range around 1,500 revolutions per minute.
For a replacement or used purchase, these motors call for matching the respective supply voltage to the local mains, checking the condition of the terminal-box wiring, and the seal of the IP55 protection class. The predominant B3,B5,B14,B34,B35 mounting code allows both foot and flange mounting, which makes replacement with other frame sizes in the same range easier.
