The register lists 14 versions here with unladen weights from 3,750 to 10,000 kg, gross weights from 18,000 to 34,000 kg, lengths from 7,450 to 13,060 mm and widths from 2,430 to 2,600 mm.

With gross weights up to 34 tonnes, the Koivu trailers belong to the semi-trailers and heavy trailers for freight transport, used in Finland behind articulated tractors for general cargo and long loads. With gross weights well above 10 tonnes, all versions fall into EU vehicle category O4 for trailers and semi-trailers, which may only be towed by suitably approved tractor units.

When buying used, check the frame and chassis rails for cracks and deflection, the axles, braking system and overrun brake device, and the condition of the tarpaulin or side panels; on the multi-axle models, also check the axle steering. Spare parts for axles and brakes are available through the independent commercial-vehicle trade in Northern Europe. Underrun protection, mudguards and the condition of the brake and lighting connection lines are also worth checking, along with tyre age via the DOT date code.
