KNAUSS Other models

The register lists 12 versions with unladen weights from 1,050 to 1,600 kg, gross weights from 1,300 to 2,000 kg, lengths from 5,500 to 7,300 mm and widths from 2,180 to 2,400 mm.

Site trailers of this kind serve as mobile accommodation, storage or break rooms on building sites and are moved between work sites with an ordinary tow vehicle; lengths of up to 7,300 mm give room inside for several work stations or a small workshop.

When buying used, the body and roof for damp and rust, the tightness of windows and doors, the chassis axle and brake system, the interior fittings, and the electrical wiring and lighting are worth checking. The standalone models AZUR 590 and SUDWIND follow a different naming scheme from the BW range and represent different versions within the same collective page. The notation BW 3.5 with a full stop and BW 3,5 with a comma denotes the same model name in the register. On versions with a width close to 2,400 mm, the seals between the side-wall panels are worth an additional check.
