The register lists 27 versions here with unladen weights from 150 to 710 kg, a gross vehicle weight of 750 kg, lengths from 2,550 to 6,000 mm and widths from 1,500 to 2,215 mm.

With the uniform maximum weight of class O1, every Karhu version can be towed unbraked behind a car; the wide spread in length and unladen weight shows that under the same weight limit sit both light short trailers and long, more solidly built platform and box versions for haulage and forestry work.

When buying used, check the condition and load capacity of the axle, the function of the overrun brake on the KT versions, rust on the chassis and loading floor, and on the K box models the seals and catches. Wear parts for axles, couplings and brakes are available through the general trailer-accessory trade.
