Jyty Other models

The register lists 86 versions with unladen weights from 160 to 370 kg and gross weights from 750 to 1,000 kg. Lengths range from 3,080 to 6,410 mm and widths from 1,670 to 2,140 mm, a notably large model count for what are otherwise fairly uniform platform trailers.

The consistent dimension notation in the type designations makes Jyty trailers easy to compare in the Finnish market: buyers can read off platform size and weight class directly from the name, without a brochure or data plate. The platform trailers carry machinery, building materials, boats or garden equipment behind cars.

When buying used, check the condition of the wooden or metal loading platform, corrosion on the chassis and wheel suspension, the overrun brake condition, and tyre load capacity against the stated gross weight. On ribbed aluminium platforms, also check for deformation from localised overload.
