Jks Other models

The register lists here 10 versions with unladen weights from 790 to 2,500 kg, gross weights from 1,400 to 14,000 kg, lengths from 4,200 to 7,200 mm and widths from 2,300 to 3,480 mm.

The lighter JKS trailers are used in trades and by private users for carrying building materials, machinery or equipment, while the heavier versions with 12 and 14 t gross weight are built for carrying machinery, vehicles or plant components in commercial transport; widths of up to 3.48 m show that the larger models are built for special transport. Resale of used JKS trailers mostly runs through trailer workshops and commercial-vehicle marketplaces.

When buying a used JKS trailer, what counts is the condition of the braking system – overrun brake on the lighter, hydraulic brakes on the heavier versions – the axle and wheel bearings, corrosion on the chassis and load floor, and, on the larger models, the condition of the ramps and coupling points. The registration documents should clearly state the permitted gross weight; spare parts run through trailer and commercial-vehicle workshops.
