The register lists here 30 versions with 11 to 160 kW, two- to six-pole, at a uniform mains voltage of 400 V. Full-load efficiencies range from 89.97 to 95.24% and at 75% load from 90.34 to 95.35%. Frame sizes run from 160 to 315 under IEC; the range covers protection ratings from IP23 to IP66 and mounting codes from the B3 foot mount to vertical forms such as V18 and V19, made in China and tested to the GEMS 2019 determinations with test method 2-1-1B.

With outputs from 11 to 160 kW, HMC2 targets medium to large industrial drives for pumps, fans, compressors and conveyors, where the wide choice of protection ratings and mounting forms allows use from dry indoor spaces to outdoor installation.

When buying used, what matters is bearing condition and a checked insulation resistance of the winding, visible overheating marks on the terminal box and fan cover, the condition of shaft and key, and a legible nameplate with frame size, protection rating and mounting code; on the larger frame sizes from 250 upward it is also worth checking the rolling-bearing lubrication and any relubrication fittings.
