The register lists here 26 versions with 0.75 to 160 kW, two- to four-pole, at a uniform mains voltage of 415 V. Full-load efficiencies range from 81.7 to 96.6% and at 75% load from 81.2 to 96.6%. Frame sizes run from 56 to 280 under IEC, protection is mostly IP44, with a smaller share at IP55; all motors carry mounting code B3. Manufacturing is chiefly in Japan, with further output from Thailand, Malaysia and China, tested to various GEMS determinations and to AS/NZS 1359.5:2004, with test methods A and 2-1-1B.

With a wide power band from under a kilowatt to 160 kW and manufacturing across several Asian countries, the programme covers both small auxiliary drives and large industrial motors for pumps, fans and compressors, set within Hitachi's broad industrial-technology portfolio.

When buying used, what matters is bearing condition and a checked insulation resistance of the winding, visible overheating marks on the terminal box and fan cover, the condition of shaft and key, and a legible nameplate with frame size, pole count and protection rating; with the predominant IP44 rating, outdoor use is only possible to a limited extent.
