Heinemann Other models

The register lists 47 versions here with a kerb weight of 50 to 380 kg and a gross weight of 300 to 1,700 kg, at lengths of 1,500 to 6,050 mm and widths of 1,295 to 2,400 mm.

Small trailers in this weight class are towed unbraked or with a simple overrun brake behind cars and light commercials, typically for garden and building waste, general cargo, or as trailers for small businesses and private users who do not need a higher trailer licence category.

Buying a used small trailer is mainly about checking the load floor, side panels and coupling, plus the condition of the tyres, wheel bearings and, where fitted, the overrun brake and its cable. Corrosion on the drawbar and the frame welds is the most common weakness on older models. Parts such as axles, couplings and lighting sets are available through the general trailer accessory trade, brand-specific parts less easily.
