Heinemann Other models

The register lists here 94 versions with unladen weights from 182 to 1,680 kg and gross weights from 800 to 3,500 kg. Widths run from 1,450 to 2,530 mm; length data exists for a smaller share of the models, running there from 3,260 to 7,400 mm.

With unladen weights from as little as 182 kg and gross weights up to 3.5 tonnes, Heinemann covers the classic small and car-trailer segment common with gardening, construction and landscaping businesses and private users. The large number of different type codes points to a finely graded modular programme with many body and axle variants within a few base sizes.

On a used trailer, buyers should check the overrun brake and brake linings, the condition of the drawbar and ball coupling, corrosion on the frame, drawbar and side boards, and tyre age. On tandem versions the evenness of braking on both axles also needs checking, and on tippers the tightness of the hydraulic ram. As this is a broad small-trailer programme, parts such as side boards, lighting and axles are generally available as standard items through the independent trailer trade.
